On monday morning my beautiful Luna got killed by a speeding car in front of my house. She was the most beautiful model I'd ever had...if anything she was my inspiration for taking up photography again. I'll miss her.
Sorry for the loss of Luna.
To love and be loved by a dog is a very special gift. They leave us too soon but we are better having loved them. So sorry for your loss.
Thank you all. It only took a second of in attentiveness for her to pry open the gate. My only consolation is that she died happy and healthy. She knew how much I and my family loved and cherished her. She'll never be replaced just as none of us can be replaced...we're all special.

So sorry for your loss. REJ.
Thanks again to all. If nothing else this incident has made me re-think my own place in relation to the life that was lost and the lives around me which continue on. It's wonderful that we here on the forum have the ability to collect and distribute the images of the things which God in his wisdom has given us. But at the same time I think we should never forget that it's the lives around us that count...not their images. Don't ever neglect them. don't ever put them aside for even an instant for any earthly endeavor.
So sorry to hear of your loss! She is beautiful I also have a Siberian. So I know how fun, challenging and wonderful your relationship was.
Thanks for sharing those pics, please feel free to post more.
We live on a ranch with 3 dump off dogs as well as the poodles we raise. From time to time one passes away. I am the world's worst about dealing with death. I am sorry for your loss. I wish I could take some of your pain but i can't. She is a beautiful dog and I get the feeling she was a great friend. Keep her in your heart for ever. Be thankful for your time together. Dogs do go to heaven. The Bible says so.
So sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to have a loved one, even a four-legged loved one, suddenly taken away from you. It just wrenches your heart and takes all the color out of your world.

So sorry, Busmaster. It's a hard thing to endure. We went through it a few years ago. It's certainly as painful (or even more), than losing an actual human family member. It's great you have so many good photos of her.
