The M&M shot is so very cool. Now I am wondering what I have that I can play around with. My wife is going to be upset when she finds water, candy, and glass all over the place. LOL

OMG I think all Lindas think alike lol I'm not polishing rocks but last fall was in a gift shop and picked up about 20 beautiful colored stones.... been waiting for the right idea to come along. I do think Gregory started something good... can't wait to see your results....

Great shot! Makes me want to try this again! I mixed equal parts of water and glycerin and put it in a squeeze bottle and then used a piece of plexiglass to put the drops on. The mixture allows for a clearer refraction.

Water and glycerin
Water and glycerin...

The flag is interesting, I love how the reflection moves across the beads based on the camera angle.

This is so cool, can you email me how you did that shot.
Looks like a multi baloon background behind a glass with
water drops.

Very awesome. I tried it, but the water didn't bead on the glass, just spread out flat. So I tried it again with drops of cooking oil, which is much more viscous and holds a shape, and it worked wonderfully! Thanks for the inspiration!!

I keep saying I'm gonna try this ever since Viceroy (I believe it was) did something similar... and I haven't gotten around to it yet!

These are FANTASTIC!
I LOVE the way the M&M's are each reflected in each water droplet!

And the clear, singular drops are amazing, too!
Simplistic but have a great impact!!

These are really cool, I have not tried M&Ms yet, my process was a little different. Here are a few. let me know what you think.
