Maybe for Christmas?? I currently shoot a D7100, but the buffer fills so quick that I get off one burst and wait. I understand the 610 is similar, but maybe better in low light because of FX?
Maybe next year a used D3s comes into the budget (lenses too)!
The D610 has a much better buffer than the D7100. The ONE thing Nikon did not upgrade on the D7100 over the D7000 was the buffer, and it was a big mistake in my opinion. The D7200 (D9300) is on its way in the near future and will have the Expeed 4 buffer shared by the D750 and D810 so that in itself will be a major improvement over the D7100. Only time will tell what else it has to offer though.
