My favorite camera is a Nikon D200. I've owned it for 4 years and I bought a D7000 a couple of years ago but the D200 is still my favorite and I intend to keep it.

Me too. I really like my D200, it's a great camera and it feels great to handle.

It's not my favorite since I got my d7100, but I still love my SRT100 and my XD-11. SRT 100 came with an f2 50mm Lens
Well, let's see. There's my grandfather's 4x5 Graflex that I have used and still own, My mother's fold up Kodak which I took on my first trip anywhere on my own, the Argus C3 (possibly the most rugged non-fixed focus camera ever made) that traveled with me in the Army, the Pentax SLR that served me for the next thirty years, and my current Nikon D3100. They are all favorites, some for great pictures, some for great memories.
I have had the 5Dlll for quite a while now. It is really the best all around camera that I have ever had. I have the 7Dll but I haven't used it enough yet for it's intended purpose. It is areally great camera for action shots, but I don't think it could completely replace my 5 Dlll. They should complement each other, at least that is my hope. Bab
I'm kinda new here as a member but I've been a long-time lurker and while I know it may be perceived as impertinent but I just gotta ask, what is the purpose of this thread, what is it accomplishing, and why would anyone serious about photography want to participate in it beyond an opportunity to make the point of "mine's bigger than yours?" Who benefits from this discussion?
Nikon FM from the early '80s. Simple, direct, and damn near indestructible. Shooting Kodachrome 25 through a Vivitar Series 1 35-85 lens. LOTS of really fine results.
D90 about 4 years old. Considering D750 or D7100. Prefer the D7200(?) if it comes with the flip monitor as does the D750. Price would likely decide the issue. There are enough upgrades to the camera to make this change worthwhile although the D90 is a great camera.

Favorite is an Exacta Varex VXIIA, gotten about 57 years ago, slowly stopped using it as digital supplemented film, and now use a few times a year just to keep it working. All parts of the camera are still functional, however my Weston Master III has pooped out. As far as I'm concerned I can compare the pictures with any digital pictures I've taken. I think I thought more about what I was doing in the process, than now. Digital has simplified everything too much, and its very easy to get into the shoot-a-way and pick what may work syndrome, for picking a decent shot! I plan on keeping it forever 'til I croak, and let my kids deal with it later! LOL
Mine is a Minolta SRT101, haven't used it in years. Have 3 VG lenses
and thinking of using it again.... Crazy or what do you think? JCC
Larry, I have 3 lenses w my 101:
MC ROKKOR PF 58mm 1:1.4, MC TELE ROKKOR QF 200mm 1:3.5,
and a MC MACRO ROKKOR QE 100mm 1:3.5 all made in Japan.
I remember how great the photos came out. What/who do you use for film, processing, etc?
Love them all. No particular favorites. Oldest 30 (Pentax), youngest 6 (Canon).
Possible upgrade within next year.
