Well blurry you're at it again. If Lincoln were alive today he would be ashamed to be a republican and just ask any history teacher, high school , college and anybody with a brain In their head which you have proved over and over again that you don't. You know you really are an arrogant jack a..! And I suspect your brain is as small as all the pictures of those insects you take. You are completely incapable of having an open minded conversation even if your life depended on it.
Well, there they go again! Those intolerant liberals not willing to accept others and trying to hijack the conservatives of the past.

What a joke. Lincoln is rolling over in his coffin thinking he was associated with the word Republican.

Of course you find it offensive, you have no self awareness do you. All you conservative types constantly talk down to anyone who doesn't agree with you.
There's a lot of hate here.

Just as a starter it seems to me that the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by none other than Abraham Lincoln, a Republican POTUS. Now how you can claim that as a Liberal accomplishment is beyond me.

It is interesting how Republicans like to remind us that Abe Lincoln was a Republican, but would any right winger of today support Lincoln's views on emancipation? The "Republicans" of today have the name in common with "Republicans" of the past. I am amused that they think they can have it both ways!
The eerie silence in includes head shaking and gasps of amazement.

The real joke is the Dems need to hijack the GOP presidents because theirs suck so much.
Know what really makes Lincoln roll over in his grave? Obama claiming to be just like him!

This coming from a guy who has not even posted a picture thread on this photography site.... I do see that you think that you are an expert on just about any conversation you find yourself involved in.... funny that a nature photographer would immerse himself in a discussion with professional photographers telling them that they are all wrong and he is right while proclaiming that an 85mm lens shot from 7 feet at f/2.8 is the ideal portrait setting. I kinda agree with those who disagreed with you... pretty shallow DOF... I see you are no better served by your pea brain in a political discussion.
Hey, you are such a dumbass, I don't take "small" pictures of insects, I take really big ass pictures of tiny insects.... Seems that as a "Nature Photographer" you could appreciate that, but I guess because you bought yourself a camera, and attended a few classes you can call yourself that but the jury is still out...
Now if you take exception to the tone of my response to you, I don't recall being rude to you in this thread prior to this post, I see though that you have a history of calling people rude on this site who have the gonads to disagree with you.... Just so we are clear, this is what I am responding to....

It seems to me that when you are incapable of gathering the facts you need to remain pertinent in a discussion you result to insults...... such a small man you show yourself to be.

More correction of misinformation:
Voting Rights Act of 1965 NOT a Democrat creation.
The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was introduced in Congress on March 17, 1965 as S. 1564, and it was jointly sponsored by Everett Dirksen (R-IL) and Mike Mansfield (D-MT) both of whom had worked with Attorney General Katzenbach to draft the bill's language. Given Dirksen's key role in helping Katzenbach draft the legislation, it became known informally as the "Dirksenbach" bill.
On May 26, the Senate passed the bill by a 77-19 vote (Democrats 47-16, Republicans 30-2). On July 9 the House passed the Voting Rights Act by a 333-85 vote (Democrats 221-61, Republicans 112-24).

It does seem that your knowledge of Lincoln's views on emancipation and black people in our society are very far removed from reality, like I said it is not with pleasure that I admit that he was a republican. Google Lincoln's plan for expatriation of the slaves after the war.
