Congratulations!

Some of you are aware of the Nest NT-530H Carbon Fiber Gimbal head that I was doing evaluations on earlier this winter, some of you have even bought them from my first dealer shipment.
The Nest factory has offered my little store the exclusive USA distributorship for this head, not just a dealership. I have tentatively accepted their contract and am right now in a minor negotiation with them over warranty work. These heads come with a 5 year factory warranty, but the factory is half way around the world. If I am going to be the USA distributor, I want to be the USA Authorized Repair and Warranty Center also, so I am asking for a certain amount of repair parts inventory to be supplied to me for free in advance. Once that issue is sufficiently resolved the contract will be signed and I will be seeking a few dealers around the country in order to have a dealer network setup by early summer.
Quite a feather in the cap of the little guy trying to compete with the corporate world of photography equipment stores!
The selling price will remain at $298 and will include one 6" long ARCA QR plate, a padded and fitted carrying case, and FREE SHIPPING in the USA. Next large inventory shipment is due at the store by April 2nd, or even sooner depending on customs.

Just kidding!!! Congratulations! You have been the "big guy" to me...always answering the bazillion questions I have. Best of luck and I hope this really helps your cottage grow.

Congratulations on your new dealership, the gimbal head looks like a real winner. I am in British Columbia,Canada and ran into a fellow today that is looking for a gimbal head so I directed him to your site. You should be hearing from him very shortly. I assume that you will ship to Canada. His name is Mike.

I posted a thread on it, along with several pics of the prototype. But ADMIN deleted it as "too promotional"!

Huh??? All the links people put on here for products, what was different about yours?

Could you put it on your website?

MT - Any thoughts on the CF tripod yet? Does it dampen vibration well? How tall will it go?

:)

It seems to dampen vibration as well as any other carbon fiber, no issues with it as of yet. Its over 6 feet tall with all 4 legs opened up, but that's the beauty of it, you don't NEED to open all 4 legs, its just that they are there if you have to use them. I am really liking the 1/2 turn twist leg locks too, quick to use.

Wow Nice! So there is no center column? I love twist lock legs...my Induro has them.

I assume it will take regular ball heads and pan/tilt heads too?

Standard 3/8 thread to take any head. Plus a 75mm bowl adapter for heavy video gear.
