Those of you who are Lightroom gurus, is there anything new in 5.3? Working on learning Lightroom and was curious if anything has changed?
Just noted that I've been with you all for almost a month, and had to reflect on just how much I've learned from this forum already. "course if you don't know much to begin with, then it's all progress. Thanks !!

I didn't read the release notes, but my understanding is that the update is not new features and just fixes to reported problems since 5.0 was released as they stablize the software from the major changes made for 5.x. The longest part I remember of the process of going from 5.1 to 5.2 was downloading the install file.

I installed it yesterday. Adobe blog says mostly bug fixes and added support for more cameras and lenses. I don't see any apparent difference from 5.2. Lightroom is simple to use right out of the box, but it will take me years to master the finer points. Like keyboard shortcuts that aren't obvious at all. Other than viewing a million tutorials from Adobe and others, there has to be a list of them somewhere...

Dirtpusher: thanks for the direction to Adobe's blog.

Mr. PC: I found a list of Lightroom keyboard shortcuts from www.lightroomqueen. It's 12 pages worth.

That's handier than sliced bread and a lot easier than looking for the printout I had done. Thanks again!

You might like to check out this lady's site. She makes pretty exhaustive training videos. She's listed all the LR 5.3 changes here

I resisted the download for a while. Then I saw that the new download includes the D610 which is a camera that I am thinking of buying....so download I did.
