If you will be using photoshop to remove her, please detail all the steps, detail by detail, tool by tool, defining words like layers, masks, curves, etc. which mean nothing to me. As I am starting to learn about Photoshop, doing this would help me. I really like this image but obviously, she ruins it. Thanks.

Greg

It looks like this was taken with a wide angle lens. Learn how to take pictures first. Trying to repair pictures is a waste of time. Do not expect someone to tell you step by step how to use photoshop. It is not easy. You should have purchased Elements first and mastered that. If you do not purchases some books on Photoshop and takes some classes, you will have wasted a considerable amount money just to say you have PS.

humm, kind of harsh but I slightly agree. If you just want to shoot, ignore these posts. If you want your stuff to look good learn PS. there is a thread going on RIGHT NOW about learning PS. There are so many links offered up to material it is amazing.

BTW, it took me longer to download the picture than it took to remove that woman............and your Watermark. I the same thing back a few years for a 6x4 foot mural someone was printing on vinyl and putting on their wall. Did not have CS6 at that time and did it by hand. Yes I agree, that took a little time. But it was fun.

I thought this was a place folks could get help. No need of folks being rude. If you don't want to help then just keep your mouth shut.

She has gone and taken her mates with her - does not look too bad - it is a great shot and worth removing distractions.

If it looks OK to you let me know and I can tell you what I did.

Hi Greg,
I hope this is okay for you. I removed her by using the Clone stamp in Photoshop. Just click on the Clone stamp icon, then use the Alt button on your keyboard to define the area you want to clone, then use it to go over the area you want to replace. You will have to do this quite a few times to eliminate the unwanted area and replace it with something else. Just practice
Michael

This was the best I could do in removing the people from your photos. I used the Content Aware feature in Photoshop Elements 11. There were no layers, masks, etc. You can Google this topic and you should get lots of information. Hope this helps.

Here is another look you may like . Photoshop CC , clicked on content - aware move tool - drew a circle around the lady about 1/8 " away from her - hit delete key ... I would normally do what others done by adding more fence , but I thought you may like this look where the fence looks like it goes under the branches . Tommy

Another look

I know some people are offended by my using spanish but this comment is directed solely at cthahn: que te pasa amigo? Porque despertaste asi? Deberías tomar tus medicamentos para mejorar tu cerebro dañado. Sure, crop is easier but as I stated, I am learning and asking the forum for their ideas, methods and techniques. I like all your revisions. Nice work kubota, clix, shadow and rath. Thanks for having our backs bill and norman.

Because it might (and it did) throw the composition out of wack. Better to clone her out... or wait for the lady to leave before taking the shot.

I photograph collegiate sports. During a basketball game a Chinese student was shadowing me with the first digital camera he bought. He kept asking one question after another on how to use it. I took time to go through each question until he sort of got it.
He worked on the staff of his college newspaper, and continued to shadow me at sports events and ask those irritating questions until he graduated the next year. When he returned to China he posted on Facebook that he got a job as a photojournalist.
You never know how your helping someone with the most trivial (to you) things, might change that persons's life. I have a mantra...people before things.
