Good point, Cuba is exactly what the US will look like if the Koch brothers have their way.
Also and how are we not prospering now? Would you go back to 1900 capitalism? For a good example of what that would be like read "People of the Abyss" by Jack London.
Also I do not play the name calling game. I do not see the point of it.

Do you actually know the difference between Capitalism and Socialism. If the United States ever looks like Cuba then it will come from the Left not the Right. Your President Obama is a Socialist.
No different then all the labor unions telling people that they must vote for the Democrat candidate. It happens every election.
Nothing new here folks move along.

Or labor unions requiring members to work on "get out the vote" operations--using only Democrat voter lists. ;0)

Okay I would call him a moderate liberal, but let us go ahead and call him a socialist. Just like LBJ (LBJCare/Medicare) was a socialist, or Theodore Roosevelt (TRCare/Social Security) was a socialist. Mitt Romney and RomneyCare, he was a Socialist. So using your all or nothing logic since GW Bush did nothing to repeal Medicare or Social Security those two awful social programs he too is a Socialist.
Next time your town is hit by fire, flood, tornado , or hurricane, please not not allow that awful social disaster relief into your village.
Yes capitalism is great if you are in the 1%, not so good if you are in the abyss.

I generally do not pay much attention to who writes an article, or what particular site it is from... but since I was interested in this article I took the time to look up the author.. Dan Payne... I didn't dig too deeply, but did find this....
http://www.thedailybeast.com/contributors/dan-payne.html One might be a little teeny weeny bit suspicious of his article... or not as your political leanings come to the fore.....

Glad that someone is standing strong for America...

Yes you are correct. I stand corrected.
And yes public education is a form of socialism. Private education is capitalism.

Public schools are payed for through our tax dollars. That is not socialism. They are not government run schools. The Ladies Cake Bake Social Club is not Socialism. The take over of the American Health System and run by the Government is Socialism. The taking over of your property and your business to be run by and used for the government is Socialism. What would it take for you to see the difference?
