There are a lot of very fair capitalists but you sound as a cold dehumanized one. If we live within a society I think we should think about the worthy but less fortunate and help them to get well. Have you think that you or any of your family members could get sick and cost you all you have save through your entire life including your home? That is not fair my friend. The "socialist" health care as you call it is intended to protect everybody, including you...Also , who told you I like Obamacare?...

The word "fair" is very tricky. A law professor that I became friends with said the bottom line in law and government is....IT DOES'T HAVE TO BE FAIR, JUST LEGAL.
Unfortunately, this is a harsh truth.

crissx09,

In my experience working in law enforcement and corrections I came across people from all walks of life and of course criminals, lots of criminals. Please believe me when I tell you that many of these people have not worked, have never wanted to contribute to society by joining the military or something like the Peace Corps, they would not think of volunteering at a soup kitchen but will sure go there to eat, who basically are users and takers from the many good people in our society who do go to work every day, try to support their family and do the best they can to get by without EVER taking something from somebody else. They wouldn't think of it.

I hear millionaire movie stars complain that big business should simply take care of these slackers yet they, with all of their money seldom contribute a penny. There is a reason and it has been proven that Conservatives as a whole are far more generous with their contributions than Liberals. Liberals want me to give the poor MY money while they want to keep their money.

Yes, there are people out there who do need a hand up from time to time and I am glad we do have organizations at every level of government to help them on a temporary basis. But for these people who do not contribute I have nothing but scorn. I refuse to help them when they can so easily help themselves.

Very good observations Dennis. I have observed the same things. It is amazing what one can see when we keep our eyes open.
