"Climate change" is a scam looking for power and money. You want to do something about it - find out how to control the Sun and earth's orbit around it.

The answers to the problem: when in doubt, run in circles and shout!

If you think that the earth doesn't care about governments or their legislation, you should travel to the eastern part of my state of Kentucky. God created mountains that were incredibly beautiful and they are now moonscapes. People who are so much in love with coal should have their areas blasted like war zones and they should drink contaminated water!

At last a comment from someone intelligent regarding this subject. This forum seems to be a nest of people who deny climate change and who cavalierly shrug it off. Because of their physical position, climate change will warm their heads only after their asses are burning hot.

"If there was a definite cure" ? How gullible do you think readers in this forum are ? If you were diagnosed with cancer, you'd be at the doctor's office in a flash, definite cure or not !

I for one would go to the doctor, but I might not take the "cure". I saw my best friend deteriorate right before my eyes taking all that chemo crap.He had to take it every 3 weeks, and for 2 of those weeks in-between treatments,he was so sick he could hardly get out of bed.No thanks? And basically all the doctors did was,in my opinion, use him as a guinea pig.

Should we have strong FEDERAL action to protect us from the worst effects of climate change ? Or should we leave this to the states ? When climate change causes massive storms that decimate cities and counties, should the Federal Government help people there get back on their feet ?

Some of the folks who expressed real dislike of the federal government were certainly happy to have federal help after disaster hit them. (They have principles -- but these can be bought.)

You need to give us one more option to vote for.By your "pol" you assume we all agree with you that this climate change horse shit is valid. The one other option I would suggest is; "or should we do nothing at all and let nature take it's course?"

Climate change is a natural occurrence that has been going on as long as this planet and others have existed. Ice ages and warming cycles. Get over it. Global warming caused by man is a ridiculous idea. Yes carbon emissions could contribute but nowhere near in say 200 years the effect of one large volcano. The sky is not falling. The EPA in it's bloated Federal waste of money programs would do well to worry about water quality and certain toxic air pollutants but coal emissions to generate power are the least of their worries. Besides the EPA governs emissions in our country only. The rest of the world such as China, Russia, Indonesia, and India will burn more coal combined that the US is not even a blip on the radar. Find something else to loose sleep over. Like what the Royal couple will name their INBRED BABY. Say hello for me to Al Bore at your next family reunion.

Beware the business of cashing in on global warming. What most propose is taxing it. They tout models they have rigged to scare you into thinking if you pay these Reverends of the Church of Global Warming- they will save you. They'll use the money they receive to line their pockets and those who they choose. And in the end do nothing, blame it on the Republicans and lie when they say they tried.

Meanwhile the Earth does not care a wit about you- never has, never will- we are her uninvited guests and she runs the show.

Global warming is a real event. It is warmer now then during the last ice-age, it will be colder during the next one. If you were able, you'll see someone trying to cash in then, to stop the global cooling- they'll still be blaming Republicans no doubt.

See how they lie. The black line is the lie- that's the one they want to tax you about. This and the supposed global warming gasses they use to chart the black line has doubled- with China coming on line as an economy with no regulations. But they are unapologetic- just give in to the tax- it is a temporary fluctuation.

A snake sheds it's skin every so often, maybe twice a year; same thing obama does. So, what's wrong with the planet earth doing its thing? Best idea is to get rid of the epa. Hope some one agrees with me. Thanks.

Last year I had it succinctly explained to me by Jean Michel Cousteau (Jacque Cousteau's son). He said changes in weather patterns - cooling, warming, etc. - were natural pheomena that have been occurring since there was an earth. The only thing we have to do with it is speed up or slow down the process. That's the only thing we may have some control over.

I am worried that all the fresh water in the rivers is running into the ocean and it will fill them up and we will run out of fresh water and all the lakes will dry up and there will be no more fishing and that we will not be able to flush our toilets and all the stuff will back up and we will all die.

The political establishment changed the name from global warming to climate change because the earth stopped warming. Our climate changes. The question is what effect does human action have on climate change?

We do not have the science to forecast climate change and to identify the effect we have on climate change. Until we develop the science needed to answer these questions, there is nothing to say.
