Monochrome, but the light in the bottom corner of the stem seems more pronounced than the colour version, but still good images.

Interesting observations and comments. It's a close call, but in this instance I go for color with border. . . . . I think.

Im a fan of mono b/c of shadow definition. I wouldve cloned out the tiny leaf at the base of the flower where it meets the stem. Beautiful lighting.

Is it a rule or law ? BTW the color of inner part in my frame the same as color of petals, I used the eye dropper.

No rule; mainly judgement.
No objection to the yellow in principle; it was just that I felt it drew too much attention in this instance.
I do, however, tend to use a fairly pale colour in the middle band; sometimes, having selected a colour, I open the Colour Picker and tone it down.

I tried and do not like it. BTW a lot of this Forum members hate selective color.

I was going to mention to ditch the border on the monochrome as well. Saw that you did it and you now have a very nice fine art image.

That's unfortunate; done correctly, framing can really enhance the the over-all effect of an image. And I'm willing to bet that even the die-hard detracters of framing on this site don't just tape their images to the walls at their home - at the very least they mount them in a frame before hanging, and I'll bet a lot of them are matted as well.
