Quite good. I'm partial to red headed girls. Dirty ol' man.
I find the fuzziness in the first 4-5 and the colored shirt on the cowboy distracting. You want people to look at the kids first and then maybe notice their surroundings. Just my 2 cents.

It would be easier to offer C&C if you only posted 1-3 images. Anything more get's a little overwhelming.
Just a couple of quick points (take what you will from them)
* Selective colouring never works IMHO.
* Bluring your background in post, is not good.
* Your PP is too strong, you need to pull back a lot on it. It's not helping the images at all.
* If the first thing you notice is the vinegrette, it's to strong (kind of goes with the PP statement above).
The kids are cute and your posing is good.
I think they are all great shots but I'd be curious to see what they looked like without the fuzziness and selective coloring. Just a personal preference, but I always like seeing crisp, clear, bright portraits. The 6th shot, of the boy with his arms on his knees, is my favorite. What a great portrait! And I think the editing effects work nicely with that one!
This is one of the photos before i touched it
Here are a few shots that are untouched,i hope to get better and better,i want all the advice i can get.
This is the photo you liked without anything done to it,,jaymi

Hi, i've only been shooting out of auto mode since september but can i say #1 4 and 9 need the use of reflecters to lightin up those shadows caused buy the hats and on # 9 the natual light is on her left and that postion has caused her whole face to be sadowed a reflecter on her right would fix this, with my lack exsperience thats all i can offer...
yes that shot of the boy is my favorite!
I actually like the first few better untouched than with the blur. Mind if I take a stab at editing one of them?
jaymi,,of course not,go for it
tj,,thanks for the advice,I havent been shooting for very long and am still not sure when Im suppose to use the reflectors, thks
I like the way you are coordinating their clothes...I think I pretty much agree with everyone else about the blurry stuff going on. I like the boy on the steps...natural expressive,,, the dark ring going all around is a lot better then the blurriness. Oh yea when I look back I can see it is much better in its original form.
I didn't want to edit without asking first!
I really like this shot of this little girl, here is my edit, and the before and after side by side to see the difference. I always like to edit clean, clear, and crisp!
Oh yes, that looks much better, now tell me what u did to make it more crisp,i feel like that is what Matthew, the boy sittin on the rock needs,,,the little girl is Eadin my youngest.
