It mostly is, they don’t want to do anything till Trump gets back.

If that were the case they wouldnt have passed an immigration bill in the house in 2023, but they did.

Agree that

Rather than discuss amendments the senate chose to write its own bill.
The ball is is now in house court to negotiate a compromise bill thru committee action of two chambers.

You dont make any sense. That kind of legislation is supposed to start in the house, which it did. Put the blame where it belongs. Schumer refused to bring the bill to the floor. The senate bill didnt even pass in the senate while the house bill did pass in the house. That makes it a senate problem not a house problem. How on earth can you blame the group that actually did their job?

Coz that's what liberals do! You know, I too miss the Democrat party of Thomas Jefferson, you know the party of Federalism, but I recognize the fact that the Democrat party has moved far away from their party of old.... I wish Denny would realize that the party he longs for is a memory and will never return again.

You're right, they did pass one under McCarthy to save title 42.

Because some 90% of their asylum claims will be found to be false.... How about that Denny? They broke the law in coming here and now you want to give them asylum, how about sending them back home or actually closing the border and only taking in as many as the detention centers which they by law are supposed to be held in while their case is evaluated will hold.

1. Where did you get 90%. ? I’m
2. It’s debatable they broke the law . The law specifically says they can enter the country any where and ask fir asylum.
3. By all means build detention centers and hire more judges. Where’s the money come from. Federal government do that and you would cry a river.

That’s wrong legislation can start in either house. Sorry you totally wrong about that .

Citizens complain, rightfully so, about the negative impact of immigrants because of the financial burden. The financial burden would be outweighed if these people were allowed to work. That's one reason there are here... to work.
At less than 4% unemployment, and thriving economy... we need workers.

Get them from them the welfare rolls.

No, I want gun control because it will save many lives. Including lives taken by illegal immigrants.

I did point out that they were violating immigration laws.

And the point wasn’t to curb illegal immigration. Just that claiming that they are criminals is incorrect.

What is your definition of idea of Gun Control, honest question no ill intent on my part.

Im not wrong. It did start in the house where it passed. The senate refused to take it up and then wrote their own bill which did not pass. So, the house did their job, but the senate did not. Put the blame where it belongs.

Biden rescinded Trump's negotiated "Remain in Mexico" policy with an EO on day 1.

Anyone can ask for "asylum". However, it requires proof of persecution to obtain asylum. Also, the way asylum law is written you are supposed to ask for it at the first new country you come to, not after traveling through several other countries.

No, if they actually used the money to fully support existing law I would be fine with that but we all know that the liberals want them here with a pathway to citizenship.

The senate had a. You’ve to amend the house bill or write one of their own. Next step is bicameral Egoistic to consolidate the two bills.
What I took issue with was your statement …”That kind of legislation is supposed to start in the house”. Legislation can start in either chamber . But I misunderstood you wording .” That kind of legislation “ what kind is that ??

So you don’t take issue with my three points
