I don't set limits. I process my images to look like I want them to look; or as close as I can get to what I was shooting for.

You have to remember that a lot of people have no idea as to how much PP is too much. They were never educated in this direction so have no idea what is required...
Required for what? If there is no paying client involved, who cares? If a hobbyist photographer is enjoying their hobby - and this category is 99% of UHH members who share photos - of what interest is it to you whether their tastes differ from yours?

However, speaking of overdone, do you recall posting this shot in 2022?

A tool, is a tool, is a tool. We should focus on the product(image) not so much on the tools that create it. We use our cameras to capture. and post processing to enhance. It's the final result that counts. It has to be pleasing to the photographer, or the client if it's a paid product. How it got there is no bodies business. IMO

People said photography would destroy painting. It didn't happen because they are different mediums with their own advantages.

A lot of us read what you wrote, but when you studiously avoid using quote reply, nobody knows who didn't read what you wrote. So you are accusing us all. And unless you make your statements clearer, I suspect nobody will ever read what you write in the future.

Who cares what that member has to say on anything, especially given their refusal to use quoted replies ....

Yes, I have a habit of thinking that most think the way I do and this is usually incorrect. My apologies for sure.
