More Barns of the Palouse. I thought the 4th was unique in that you put the grain in on the uphill side and unload it on the downhill side. Clever.

Beautiful captures Leland. I really like the round barn.

Five more from Missouri. The school house is gone. The famer was worried it would fall on his cattle.

Another 15 year old shot from my home town. In my day the building with the banners was a general store, the AmVets building was a hotel, and I can't remember what the closest building was. If you see signs, of AI here, I removed a parked car and did a lousy job. :-)

Nice shot. Good job on the removal.

Like the Palouse barns. The food wagon is the first of the tiny homes that are so popular now.

Not new but not as old as it looks. Here's a Jamestown village scene as it appeared to me in 2001. It was meant to look as I might have seen it if I'd been there in 1630. Everyone would have been dressed differently, of course.

Seen on the road while "bridging" (def: traveling to photograph covered bridges). In the Hundred, WV, area circa 2007 and taken with a Kodak P&S. Upon revisiting this same area a few years later, this barn with the Mail Pouch advertisement was no longer standing, having succumbed to old age. RIP old fella.

It is ineviable that many old buildings are going to fall in ruin, but it is good that they are being recorded and remembered. I hope that the wood in many of them can be repurposed for another use.

I just couldn't resist this one. It is a "building," i.e., a house, sort of, and a real fixer-upper. Looks like it needs a new roof and that someone has tried to force entry at the front door. At least the foundation appears strong. Should have repairs soon or it might be on the ground in a few more years!
