I travel the backroads in Missouri and am always seeing barns or building that are close to the end of their life. Let's see what you have in your area. I started this because I didn't see that one had been started. When the one that should have been here, I'm happy to step aside. January 29 - Feb 03 2024

That's inspiring. I'll start scoping out what is available around here.

These are some beautiful captures. That 3rd one looks like they are thinking of moving it somewhere. There would be some real restoration needed on that!!!

Joe, Always enjoy seeing you post pictures. And I have an affinity for older homes like the ones you have pictured.

Here are the oldest buildings in America I could come up with: cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde.

When I was a boy, this was the lumber yard in my home town. This pic was taken about 15 years ago, after the lumber yard had relocated, it had turned into and antique shop, and then been abandoned. A lot of memories for me here - us boys were always building something, and on a good day, the lumber yard gave away scraps!

Barns of the Palouse. The last was an original "Food Wagon" that was apparently pulled into the fields to feed everyone working. Had stoves and cabinets and wheels.
