Try whole cherry tomatoes instead of green beans.
(But they have to be placed carefully.)

Back around '57 I went on a canoe trip with a couple guides and about 15 kids into the wilds of Ontario. We were on the water for about 3 weeks and saw 2 people. Lots of portages. We put in long days and got really tired of eating blueberries. The one meal that I remember from that trip was called 'glop'. We would make a large pot of spaghetti (using about a 24 quart pot or thereabouts). When it was nice and hot we would drain the water, toss in a couple cans of corned beef and a pound or so of cheese and some sauce and stir it. 'Glop' was the sound it made when you served it. But after a long day it hit the spot.
I gave it a try about 15 years later. It didn't have the same appeal or else my aging memory left out some components.

I had never heard of scrapple before moving to PA. It is almost as popular here as Philly Cheese Steak and Pork Roll.
Some people eat it in little cakes about the size of a McDonald's hashbrown but I prefer it almost paper thin and crispy. One place near here serves it in little cubes about 3/4 inch on a side. They deep fry these little cubes and it is the best scrapple dish I've tried.
