Good morning and a Happy New Year everyone from a sunny Norfolk but only 2C here. Fireworks started about 8pm last night but was in bed before midnight and either none were let off round here or I slept right through them. Firecracker beef for dinner so not much to do. Other than that just knitting on the agenda. Have a good start to the year today. xx

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. Happy New Year. It is 8:53 am EST and -9'C (16'F). Snow coming tomorrow, so they say.
I heard a couple of fireworks while I was in bed last night. They were close as I could hear the crackle after the sizzle of the rocket. So probably in the park near our house. But that was it.
There are a couple Polar Bear dips into Lake Ontario this afternoon, where people run into and dip into Lake Ontario to raise money for cancer. They have a pile of blankets, hot tubs and paramedics standing by, but no one has had a heart attack doing this sillyness. (There must be easier ways to raise money for cancer)
Knitting for the rest of the day and a pork tenderloin with pineapple for supper before back to work tomorrow.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY UH 😐 SISTERS. 👯♀️ I hope it’s a good one for your health. I just stayed in bed watching 👀 the tv 📺 and listening to the fireworks 🧨. Then I dropped off to sleep 🛌 . I had a text from the family and that was enough for me….i have no hangover 😵 and I’m sure there’s a lot of them. I’ve no more news, 📰 but stay warm, stay calm, and love yawl. Hope you all get sorted out with your ailments. I may be on later, but doing a jigsaw now. Xxx

Good morning and Happy New Year from a 34F and cloudy Shoreline area. Was asleep well before midnight last night although I did hear a couple of fireworks being set off. Didn't keep me awake though. No plans for the day today so will take it as it comes and get on with my knitting at some point. I hope you all are having as good a day as you can and staying safe and well. xxxooo

Mine has started out on a rough note, but that’s not unusual for me, my dryer that they just fixed won’t spin the tub……again sooo dh is trying to track down a new breaker because we think that might be the problem, if he can find it he will change it and then we will see if we need to contact the repair place again……
