Good morning from a 43F and raining Shoreline area. Looks like we'll have rain here most of the day. No plans here once again so will see what comes along and get on with my knitting at some point. I hope you all are staying safe and well and having as good a day as you can. xxxooo
You are having a heat wave. If you go several miles east it is 4 F (-15c) no warm up in sight.
Hoping your day is pleasant even with the rain.

Hello. Sorry you are having a rougher patch than normal. I will share a bit of energy with you and send it via the air waves. It is very windy here so you should receive it shortly.
Your friend does not come to see if your house is spic and span, he comes to see you. Well, he probably looks forward to your great cooking also.
Dr. order is to stay warm and cozy and knit the day away.🌹💓
Thanks, it's getting windy here now as well so will try and catch your energy as it whips passed. I'm sure he wouldn't care too much if I didn't tidy up but don't want him tripping over the dust bunnies. I'm following the Dr. order and sitting quietly and knitting but must pull my finger out tomorrow as I've got shortbread biscuits to make for him, he really looks forward to them. xx

Yes, I'll take our heat wave over your weather. That is really cold. We got down to 11 or 12F and that was plently cold enough for us. Glad it's thawed out now. Stay in and stay warm. xxxooo
Today is Michael’s 11th birthday! Where has the time gone, oh and Thursday we got about 3 inches of snow woohoo to the snow boo to the below zero temps we have had with it!

Me: mutter, mutter, built-in obsolescence, mutter mutter. It's an actual thing. If you built everything to last forever, you would be out of work once everyone had one. So, in the 1970's built-in obsolescence became a real thing.
I know but this dryer I haven’t even had a year yet!
Good morning all from a sunny and not so windy Norfolk, temperatures over zero again even in the wind, the storm pretty much passed us by again, a bit windy for a few hours last evening but nothing special. Have got my biscuits done and dinner is ready and now need a sit down. Might chase dust bunnies and get the hoover out later or might leave it until tomorrow. Still rough but DH has been helping so not quite so much to do, definitely not putting my friend off, it's been too long and he'll take me as he finds me. Have a good day if you can, stay warm. xx
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:21 am EST and -12'C (10'F). There was sunshine on the weekend despite the cold temperatures. Then the cloud came back in.
Flurries start later this afternoon, but the temperature is going up. I'll keep an eye on the forecast and may leave work early.
Mum was out with her photo club all dressed in thermal pants and overpants and a heavy parka. I had to pick up some things at the grocery store but stayed inside after that.
The trail cameras have been picking up many many bunnies. Fighting and jumping and eating. We haven't seen the coyotes all weekend.
I did a bit of knitting but didn't get anything finished. I did get mum's shawl blocked. Just have to put some buttons on so she doesn't need a knot at the back of her neck. (Her request.)

That's great that the storm passed you by.
I'm sorry that you are still feeling rough. I'm hoping your friend's visit will help your spirits.

Happy birthday Michael. We are getting warmer temperatures with our snow so they should be heading your way soon.

We're supposed to be warm enough for rain by Thursday. Maybe the polar vortex is finally going away.
My alarm has gone off already. I'm later this morning because Tazi decided this morning was time to play. The cat is 17 years old so any time she shows a little spirit we encourage it. Most of the time she just sleeps.
Everyone have a good day and stay safe and well, or get better soon.
