It's not snowing in Worthing, but it is very cold, and there is snow not far away on the other side of the downs.

It appears occasionally on TV adverts. It sums us all up so well. I would have done it a few years back - not many either.

absolutely. He is a mechanic and gas engineer, so wears work trousers, tatty jumpers and a beanie. Always scruffy.

You paint, I didn't know that. Hugs xoxo

Strangely I don't paint them. I use pencils and pastels; much finer work, and easier to keep amending with pastels and fixative! They are though very accurate.

We have a dusting of snow but not as bad as some, so I’ve sat by the radiator all day doing my puzzles. I’ve enjoyed the me time, I like me time and pal time 🕰️. But….I’ve no news today. Margret texted, I think she’s out. I could go for lunch tomorrow but I aim to give it a miss. I’ve my shopping list to text to,Stephen. Then I’ll do some jigsaws.

Love yawl, stay warm and safe put up with each other? Have a nice day. Cuddles too. Xx

Good morning all from a sunny but cold (2C) Norfolk. Back in the kitchen experimenting. Trying German leek and cheese soup with ground pork. Back to puzzling out my neck gusset this afternoon, might have to improvise. Have a good day, it's the end of the week. xx

That soup sounds wonderful.

That book is available at my LYS. The owner has knit the moose hat on the cover and it is displayed at the store. She doesn't carry Briggs and Little yarn though. I'm not sure what yarn she used. I need to get Briggs and Little from the shop in Peterborough, one hour to the north.
I just bought the Viking book at the LYS last night. I've been eyeing that book for some time now and it was out of stock everywhere so when I saw it, I pounced.
The cover looked good too.

Good morning all from a cloudy and cold Norfolk. Sorry I'm late, had a painful day yesterday and no where near my best today. Got up my usual time anyway and found the boiler not working and DH saying he felt ill too. Went back to bed for an hour or so and when I got up DH had gone back to bed. Neither of us are hungry but have had to cook some chicken I took out yesterday, at least they can be eaten cold. So not a happy house here today. Hope your Sunday is a lot better than mine. xx

And my freezer is playing up. xx

I don't like the sound of that boiler. Do you have a CO2 monitor?

Boy, the fog is really settling in this weekend. Thick as pea soup, glad I'm not driving. Bad enough having to watch out for elk on the road on sunny days. Having a friend over for coffee and bagel this morning. Still have a ton of leaves to move. I'm deleting files off my laptop and came across this photo of June that I don't remember seeing before.. beautiful lady and friend. xoxo

That's typical June, relaxed, talking and smiling.

Son felt better today. Put off going to doctor. I disagreed but didn’t do any good. I’m glad he felt better. Met my friends for lunch. Am invited to a holiday gathering at one friend’s house. Went to library and got a jigsaw puzzle with many cats. And a couple of books. One is Christmas cross stitch. Son went into Walmart for a few groceries. Got a phone call from a friend who is fun to chat with. Mooch is on my lap so I hope that means no more mice for him to catch.

You sounded really happy when you wrote that, so good to see.

Good morning all from a cold (-2C) Norfolk, another layer of frost added to our grass, still nice and sunny although there are a few more clouds around today. Just made some croutons and everything else is ready for dinner, just needs heating up. Finished the ss section of the first arm on the sweater, into the pattern bit next although only a four row pattern so nothing too brain strenuous. Nothing else planned for the day although I should write some Christmas cards, does anyone else feel not the least bit Christmassy? Anyway, have a good day if you can, stay warm and snug. xx

Not a bit. I wrote some cards for our Army ladies' meeting, then left them on the table at home. Now I will have to post them. We went to Harvester for our 'Christmas' lunch. I had ribs as usual.
Three of the ladies make up big shopping bags full of goodies and we get a bag each. I can't remember everything, but there was a lot. Tins of chocolates, and biscuits, our preferred tea and coffee (I had Earl Grey), diary, large purse in my favorite colour, and loads more.
