Ami wrong? Is this a photograph talk room? Was the question asked…what do you carry in your camera bag? I thought that was the initial question? Maybe I’m incorrect and I misunderstood the initial question.

Are you a newbie here? Almost every topic posted eventually morphs into something different because everyone is free to comment as they like. Free speech...and everyone is also free to use the "unwatch" feature if it's something they have no interest in.

That's a luxury set of lenses - five primes and five zooms covering the same tight range.
If you had to discard half of them - which would you keep (besides the Tamron)?

Excellent Question! Sorry, but I would keep them all the EF-S lenses are lightweight. As I get younger camera and lens weight becomes an issue. When picking between the Tamron and Canon 24-105 I lean towards the Canon based on range and weight. Now I have more lenses than the ones I listed. I only showed the lenses that I have used in 2023 over 50 times, based on Lightroom's Metadata, e.g., Tamron 150-600mm I only used 25 times in 2023.

It's nice to hear from a very busy pro (and that there is such an animal) in this day and age. Good luck and a prosperous New Year. (From a serious amateur doing his thing).

I would like to know if anyone uses a wheeled camera bag?
I was reading that it was a suggestion from someone who went to Shutterfest.

The bag for my full frame equipment has two wheels and an extendable handle, like luggage. I bought it before I had knee replacement, because carrying it was not a workable option. I keep it because I've learned to like not having to carry it.

I don't carry a bag, I carry a camera with a 70-200 lens and a 50 in my pocket. Harry
