Sadly, Joe Demb retired. There are no more Flip-It products. :-(

Holy-Moly, how many donkeys do you have to carry all that around. I put my camera bag together this morning as I was cleaning my office, things that don’t get used much anymore. I don’t want to get rid of them, so I made a camera bag for the car.

The Flip-It's in my opinion, are as good if not better than the MagMod Mag Bounce. They are less expensive and much lighter in weight.

Do you carry any lights or light modifiers?

Much lighter in weight, much easier to use, and better results. I was a beta tester for Joe, so he was always sending me his products. The Mag-Mod and Fong modifiers are crap, when compared to the Demb products.

I agree 100%, I have three of them. My go to on-camera flash modifier.

When I'm shooting wildlife, which is 99% of the time, I only carry a Sony a1 with grip, Sony 600mm f4, extra batteries and cards. That lens will not fit into a regular bag so I rarely have one with me. If it looks cloudy I add a couple Walmart plastic bags.
I also carry Zeiss lens wipes and 🚀 blower in my pockets.

I’m getting old, trying to lighten my load. I was also thinking about not carrying the 50mm and 85mm lens. What do you think? You only carry the zoom and the 50mm.

My longest lens is a 70-200 f/2.8. I Use it for sports. I don’t carry it unless I know I am going to use it.

It kinda depends on your style of photography and your desires.
99% of my shots are with the zoom. I rarely use the 50 as I mostly do landscape shots.
But it's small and doesn't weigh much.
I decided a long while back that I didn't need to carry a mess-o-stuff for any contingency...
I have other accoutrements, but I pull them out of the other bag as desired/needed for what I plan on doing.
e.g. extension tubes; wireless remote; a Sony H-1; external flash; chargers; ...
What I listed above (initially) is all I took to Iceland when we went.
I like the zoom, as it saves carrying a bunch of lenses.
(I'm not a perfectionist that needs the "better" quality of fixed lenses. )
