Forgive my naivete but what are aitches?

Have a look at the title of this thread. There is a single letter missing. Pronounce it. Imagine a lot of them. Pronounce them.

The red letter is an "aitch."

Gotcha! Sorry I didn't get it the first time around. I never see the need to bring attention to someone's typo.

I do because the person who doesn't check what he/she has typed is also the person who possibly doesn't put all the bolts back into something he/she is repairing. And it might be my thing they are working on.
The less pedantic amongst us might say there is nothing to compare between the two and they may be right. However I believe the same area of the brain is involved in the two decisions so make one type of mistake and you may well make another mistake of a similar nature. And that one might affect me.

I shouldn't have added it at all. Believe me when I stuff up I know it. I mention the consequence of one of those mistakes below.
I reread everything I type because, being a two fingered typist, I KNOW I make mistakes. I catch about 99% of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. The 1% that get through are not those so easily picked like the difference between wat and what is. I did mention that I am a two fingered typist didn't I ? One of those two fingers happens to be only the proximal phalanx long so I have a reason (fat finger hits two keys at once). What reason do others have for publishing a spelling mistake ?

WOW...again! You've doubled down on your impatience with VERY MINOR mistakes that EVERYONE is capable of making. Be a little forgiving and you'll be a happier person.

I just hope for your sake that you don't get bitten by your tolerance for carelessness and lack of concern shown by others who mostly couldn't care less about how what they do might affect others. I have been bitten a few times and do my utmost not to let it happen again. One of these is to point out to others their lack of personal attention to detail. Go and watch the utube channel 'Plainly Difficult'. Most of these disasters were caused by carelessness and stupidity ! Note that if it was only a few minor mistakes by a few people it probably would be okay but my experience has been that someone who makes mistakes actually makes a LOT of them and some major. If your experience, so far, has been good then best of luck that you don't come across something more serious.

In my pocket are a couple of batteries and a back up card. My Fuji XE-1 is carried with a wrist strap.

Now that is just being ridiculous !
I presume you meant to type 'Have a nice day' but you have misspelled the words ?
Deliberately possibly but maybe you just didn't bother re reading after you typed ?
Or were you just trying to cast a little levity on the subject ?
Who knows except you.
