I have never heard of TEMU but am going to check them out. Thanks everybody for the heads up. AliExpress is a good source and I have never had a problem with them. You just can't be in a hurry and if you need instructions you will have to learn Chinese or Youtube
I agree about AliExpress, never a problem with them . Never used TEMU.

Ive made several purchases from them and been very pleased each time.
I do not use Temu for anything.
According to tech columnist Kim Komando the software gains access to all your data and can track all your data reguardless of your settings. It apparently can change your settings and read pm’s all without your knowledge or permission.
From a google search:

I,too, have bought a few things from TEMU. Nothing expensive, just some decorative items for around the house. Good experience.
I tried them once for two items. One was just as advertised and the other did not work.
When will you guys learn that we are at WAR with China? Why would you buy from a Country whose designs are to destroy your way of life and the freedoms you enjoy?
I have received 3 orders from them recently. Items as described, well packed, and timely but not express delivery. I have not ordered any photographic items from them. I figure I can order from them, or pay 2-3 times for the same Chinese made item in our retail stores or Amazon. The "stuff" I ordered just isn't available as made in America merchandise. Example- drip irrigation connectors at Home Depot 10 for $3.89. Almost identical item from TEMU $1.89 for 200- a lifetime supply. I would buy American if I could find it.

I agree with you. No signs of data breach and I don't see it happening in the future..

I love TEMU and have ordered about a dozen times. Orders usually take about two weeks, but if they miss their promised date of delivery you get $5 off on your next order. I have had very poor results with Ali Baba and AliExpress. Orders wrong or never received, and no reply from them when reporting problem.
I was told today that Amazon has "outlet" stores that resell any items that were returned for a reimbursement.
Unfortunately, I forgot to ask if they had any camera equipment for (resale). They put tags on any merchandise that is damaged, broken, or whether the item was returned, "because it was not up to the buyer's liking".
Now i am curious about those outlets for Amazon. (this greedy guy), will have to make the long trip to one of their warehouses to look at the goodies.....(I was told that there were few customers and that they peruzed the merchandise for hours without any other customers getting in their way.)

I totally agree. I can't understand why any American supports the Chinese economy!
Glad to see your reply. It is not easy and often not affordable to have such principles but I agree with you

I couldn't agree more. I would rather pay extra than support that oppressive system.
