Thanks for looking. Many people who hear the word "Desert" think of Lawrence of Ariba riding a Camel across endless sand doons or maybe the Gobi as pictured in National Geographic.

The Sonoran Desert typically gets 8-12 inches of rainfall per year, 2/3 of which comes from summer monsoons. Characterized by the iconic Saguaro Cactus the desert can be amazingly lush and green during spring and the monsoon period
