Much ado about nothing. Or what will surely be to much ado about nothing over the next 9 months.

What a set of sick replies. Would you be as offensive if she was a member of your family?

The girl, married to a royal and having a baby, is news. She is ill with a nasty form of morning sickness and has had to be hospitalised.

If you can't say anything good why write at all?

You may not like the royals but who would you replace them with as head of state? President David Cameron - I think not.

She is not part of a "normal" family she is pampered from birth to death and unlike the many she will not know hunger, homelessness, trying to pay rent and feed a family etc.

And that is the view of 33% of the UK a large proportion, just that you don't hear from them.

I write because it is a forum, what right do you have to state that only GOOD comments rather than real f peoples thoughts here are not valid.

Kate may not be from a "normal" family but she was born into that family. If you we're born into the same family what would your reply be then. Many people who are born into less well off families work hard and improve themselves not bitch about the well off. I am not a royalist although I think the Queen is a very hard worker and she has given her life to being a good Queen. I do not think that the lesser royals should get money from the tax payers. I wish the new parents to be good luck and happiness, this is their first baby and every baby brings love.

Not sick at all. I'm sure it's an important development in the UK, but why should anyone in the US care?

I think JR1 should be a little more respectful in his remarks and understand the significance of what he says.

Best of luck to them both, but I wish people would stop referring to her as Kate Middleton. That, was her maiden name, she is now a married woman.

Hello Nanaval I am not a Royalist either, but I do admire the Queen for the reasons you have given. Royalist or not some of the moronic replys are really disappointing. I feel dis-heartened to think our system is failing so badly that this is the culture we are now nurturing. regards

UHH may as well be on the cutting edge of breaking news!

By now, our UK members are probably joining the celebrations.

Not to become argumentative over this UK issue, but :-), if those googled 33% are fed up with royal news perhaps they should stop reading and watching it, there is plenty of other news to watch or read about. 8-)
