What a set of sick replies. Would you be as offensive if she was a member of your family?

The girl, married to a royal and having a baby, is news. She is ill with a nasty form of morning sickness and has had to be hospitalised.

If you can't say anything good why write at all?

You may not like the royals but who would you replace them with as head of state? President David Cameron - I think not.

Oh and get your facts right I did not say I am against the Roayls just sick of the carp we have to listen to.

They kept on about the queen mother "isn't she great for her age, she should be, all the tax payers spent on her Harley stret doctors.

She is not part of a "normal" family she is pampered from birth to death and unlike the many she will not know hunger, homelessness, trying to pay rent and feed a family etc.

We are all in the same boat - what makes you different?

And that is the view of 33% of the UK a large proportion, just that you don't hear from them.

Clearly you speak for the minority.

I write because it is a forum, what right do you have to state that only GOOD comments rather than real f peoples thoughts here are not valid.

Well at least this will give you and others a platform.

Google any stat and at least 33% of people suffering unemployment, recession, hardship, homelessness, and living REALITY are fed up with this royal news.

Well I am one of the 33%. VIVA LA REPUBLIC. Sooner we get shot of the German inbreds the better IMHO. Was bad enough when they announced the wedding...months and months of speculation and pant wetting....now this.

Anyone know of a nice cave I can rent for the next 9 months?

Yeah its a shame for her but why is every news channel now reporting it and suddenly dragging every expert out of the dark to explain what this condition is etc. etc.

because its a free world and I can!

Maybe not DC but I would welcome an elected head of state over a birth right any day.

As a UK citizen with an American father - I will proudly say - I Care. I' sure the media will overdo it - but it's a piece of good news that hurts no one.

Spot on mate.
Americans you have a republic and only have to suffer a president for ten years.
So shut up you ex colonials. You don't have to suffer Hoorays!
I wonder will they get maternity leave on the civil list?

I think it's great news and I wish HRH a speedy return to a normal and happy pregnancy. I'm neither a royalist nor a republican: but being an expectant mother should be a joyous time, and I'd like to wish both of them great happiness as they look forward to increasing their family.

Does this mean she'll now keep her clothes on? Or perhaps we'll soon see baby-bump photos?

At least the paparazzi will soon have more exciting and perhaps lucrative days.
