This set shows the continuation of our trip down Tracey Arm (the term for this fjord) to get close to the South Sawyer Glacier. Just north off Tracy Arm is the Sawyer Glacier, which we did not visit. We had to anchor and use Zodiacs (rigid inflatable boats) to get close enough for good photos. The large cruise lines cannot get as close as even our ship.
Of course, the next post will show the glacier.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks, Bill, you are quick.
Great set again Mike. I can't pick a favorite here, they are all great
Really nice, Mike. Tracy Arm is an amazing place. I remember being totally amazed at the cliffs and waterfalls. We were on a much smaller boat and were able to get pretty close to the glaciers at the end. Thanks for the cruise down memory lane. I’m looking forward to your posts of the glacier.

Really liking your compositions here Mike!! Spectacular shooting in an amazing place and thanks for taking us along.
The mist from the "serious" fall and your framing of that shot is really enjoyable!!
Bravo sir!!
Rob
Amazing pictures. I like especially the waterfall shutter speed. Lots of folks make the flowing water look like some sort of mystic mist. I like to see some motion blur but also see the droplets - perfect

Thanks, Greg, the next set will be from our Zodiac and we got as close to the glacier as is allowed. There was a great calving, but we got that on video.

Thanks, Alan, that water fall made the shot easy.
I appreciate your smiley.
