You may not have been able to capture exactly what you were after but I feel your pain. My wife is not the most patient person when it comes to my hobby so I have had to get better at getting things on the fly as I rarely get the opportunity to work the shot.

As for the weather, I think that you did a great job with the lighting that you had but we don't always get to pick the conditions, do we?

I really like the waterfall. I had to go back and look at it several times.

Thanks for your insightful comment, Mike. In many ways the weather made me work for shots and that may have been a good thing.

I agree. If we don't challenge ourselves we tend to get complacent.

My goal these days is to get it right in the camera when possible because PP is not something that I have a lot of time for since I work 60+ hours per week in a Correctional Facility and my wife runs two business out of our home. TMI, I know. lol

Keep them coming!

Really nice, Mike! Did the crew pick up some of those baby icebergs for the night's drinks? We did, it sounds cool, but it's just ice! About twenty thousand year old ice!

This set shows the continuation of our trip down Tracey Arm (the term for this fjord) to get close to the South Sawyer Glacier. Just north off Tracy Arm is the Sawyer Glacier, which we did not visit. We had to anchor and use Zodiacs (rigid inflatable boats) to get close enough for good photos. The large cruise lines cannot get as close as even our ship.

Of course, the next post will show the glacier.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Chief. They did and then had a contest as to when the large chunk would melt.

Fabulous set, Mike. The downloads are beautiful. I especially love the landscape with the ship included.
