Thanks, Merrytexan. I almost missed the waterfall for it is located down the road as you leave the mansion. I just happened to turn my head as we were driving by and I had our friend stop so that I could get a shot of it. There is so much to see that one needs to take several trips to find all of the hidden treasures that are on the estate.

The Nikon with 24-85 lens and YOU did a wonderful job of capturing the sights in the mansion and town. I have never been there, may not ever get to see it, but you have given me an inkling of what the place holds concerning beauty. Well done.

Thanks, Dennis. Gatlinburg is a tourist town, however, the beauty is away from the commercial district in the hills, valleys, and streams. I was raised in a rural area so I am "at home" away from the hustle and bustle of the shops, endless stream of visitors, and bumper-to-bumper traffic.
