Lowes or any like store.
That would be me..! I go to Lowes with my camera and I take pictures of the flowers in the Lawn and Garden area which I have posted here. We do not have any flowers at home so it is a great place for me to go and Lowes has a large assortment of flowers.
Here’s one from Home Depot. OCTOBER 1st, last year😳

Has anyone shot pictures at any of these stores. Seems to me I saw someone on here doing just that. Flowers and such. Just wondering.
I have. They don't care. I have gotten some decent Bee pics at nurseries.
As stated by Imagemaster, be respectful. They might not want you to bring a tripod, lights and reflectors. But hand held is fine.
Backgrounds , lighting can be challenging, but you just have to work with what you have. Be creative!
Attached is a fun pic I took at a succulent nursery. Wile my girlfriend was shopping, I was was wandering around with my camera. ;) (FYI - she wouldn't let me buy this. LOL.) Taken at California Nursey Specialists, Cactus Ranch, 19420 Saticoy St, Reseda CA.

Your pictures are free advertisement when you show them and tell where you took them. If I like the plant you photograph and I may go to the store to buy it.

Eye-catchingly beautiful 🧡💙💚❤️💛💜
I have shot flower pictures at Walmart, Lowes, Krogers, Home Depo, "INSIDE" and have never had anyone ever say anything about it. If the rack is outside shoot away.

I, like many others take photographs of items I see in stores of all types. The reasons are too numerous to mention.

Apparently HD thinks it soon😳
They put out the Christmas stuff every year at this time…at least my local one does😊
Stores should no mind. You could be taking pix to send to someone to see if they would like to have the item. I make some at Lowe's Walmart, wherever. I always ask permission, just to stay safe. Never had anyone tell me not to.

This question has different answers, but for retailers in California (USA), Christmas starts before Halloween now.

That pic was Oct 1st. The store moved its Halloween stuff to accommodate Christmas.
