I am using the "old" Lightroom. I would like to update my Lightroom to 5.7. Where can I find it to upload?

What do you mean? This software v5 stopped being sold and supported in 2015. There are no maintenance updates to be had. The only current software is the $10/month subscription model from Adobe. You can start that subscription from Adobe.com. Ignore all the various sweetener offers and find the $9.99 / month "Photographer's Plan". The new software installs into a new location onto your local computer so your v5 installation remains unchanged. The new LR will recognized the existing LRCAT and will (should) offer to import all the image data into a new LRCAT file. Make sure you use the new LR launch icons so you're using the new software after the data is imported.

The final v6 standalone software also stopped being sold and supported in 2017. When that window closed, that ended the option of buying your final upgrade to v6. The subscription became the only grade option. And, if you're on current Mac software, the subscription is the only option as they older LR titles don't run on the newest Mac OS versions, only on Windows do they remain viable.

Update to 5.7? I'm afraid to ask what you are running. Simply, 5.7 is long gone and out of service but there may be a 5.7.1(the last) update still around. Your best choice is the subscription version but make sure you system meets the requirements.

If you have no use for the Adobe subscription it is time to look at alternatives. What are you currently shooting with? Do you need RAW processing? How important is the cataloging?

I could be wrong but even if you found a copy of the 5.7.1 upgrade executable, I wouldn’t bet on it running once you install. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you’ll be prompted to enter your email address and the software will attempt to handshake with Adobe.Com to verify your license, which will fail. For that reason, I’ve never tried to upgrade LR 5.7.1 to 6 on my computer.

I cannot help you on this one. I do urge you to reconsider rejecting, off hand, the more modern LR/PS subscription. The new masking capabilities of LR has dramatically improved my images. Yes, there was dramatic room for improvement, but it was, as they say, a game changer for me. Ten bones a month! And I can use the web based version, create a web site using collections in LR, all for the ten bucks. It is a bargain, IMO.

Given that I boycott Starbucks, I put that money towards my Adobe subscription!

V6 does the handshake, v5 doesn't, although it's been a few years since I reinstalled the v5 software.

As you've heard elsewhere, it is unsupported and not available. If you are using something earlier than 5.7, how old is your hardware? If older than 3-4 years, start shopping. You would be amazed at what new hardware and software can do!

If you are a working pro, as you suggest, then the cost of a new computer and a monthly subscription should be normal business expenses.

I was hesitant, too. But I did the math and realized that, since I upgraded every other release when you could license a stand-alone version, I was spending about the same every 18-24 months as I would with the $9.99/month bundle — and I would have Lightroom CLASSIC (comparable to what you have now), PLUS Lightroom CC (networked so you can edit your images on Mac, PC, iPad...), PLUS Photoshop (full version), PLUS Adobe Bridge, with ACR kept up to date for new camera models, AND with other goodies and some cloud storage if you want to use it (I don't).

The subscription versions of Adobe apps are far more stable, more capable, and easier to use than the old versions installed from CDs and DVD media. But you will need modern hardware ("modern" — in the computer world — means less than five years old).
