Well most of the product excitement recently has been full frame! For example Sony's last new APS-C models date from 2019, and even the Z Fc is almost a year old.
And, as I understand it, APS-C format in RF mount is new for Canon.

Well, larger format means larger bodies mean larger sensors mean larger lenses mean larger prices mean larger profits.... What else is new ? Didn't you know, You NEED FF...
Canon let Jared Polin play with both the R7 and R10 for a few hours down in Florida. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7Vw3bcMlxw . I am an aps-c fan and almost fell out of my chair at a 32.5mp aps-c camera with a lot of the features of the R3, especially the AF system, RF mount, 15fps with the shutter and 30fps electronic shutter. The price point is amazing as well at $1500 without lens, $1900 with a 18-150mm kit lens. Well done Canon, I am impressed. I will not sell my Nikon gear, but I just might have to pick one up along with a long lens. Supposed to be shipping in June.
