Well, larger format means larger bodies mean larger sensors mean larger lenses mean larger prices mean larger profits.... What else is new ? Didn't you know, You NEED FF...

Actually I have FF also... Don't take my humor too much to heart. The big tent is big enough for everyone and their individual needs... I like both because of EF lens interchangeability and different apparent focal lengths with 1.6 factor.

If your sensor throws away 60% of the frame, how will you ever achieve your potential as a photographer?

The anticipated passing of the APS-C format appears unfounded, as Canon announces the EOS R7 and R10 and two new lenses.

Where did you see these reports about the death of APS-C?

I have a 3 year old D7500 and just bought a new D500, so weather it dies or not, it will live on with me for many years to come

You're right. I'm going to start using this camera again. Bigger is better. You just said so. I believe you. I always do.

Now that's a camera!

Every time I hear a full-frame user explain the benefits of full-frame over APS-C I have to ask, if a bigger sensor is better then why are you not using a medium format camera or even a view camera.

The full-frame users then explain to me how the full-frame cameras are easier to handle, more convenient and affordable than the medium frame cameras.

These are the EXACT same arguments I use to explain why I use APS-C format over full-frame!

Luck is the residue of shooting with a full-frame camera.

My camera has a sensor, I'm good.

A great chef can achieve wonders in the kitchen with only basic ingredients and the right attitude, the rest of us are always left wondering whether his camera has a mirror.
