I enjoy the game a lot. It is a fun 2-3 minutes. Think, drove and plums will test 15 of 26 letters in the first 3 tries. Crane is supposedly the best first word guess however. Once played, you can employ the Wordlebot, also on the nytimes site, to see a critique of your choices.

Wow, not sure I'd want a life that didn't allow literally 2 or 3 minutes for an enjoyable distraction. And when it's hosted on the NY Times site and mentioned by so many here is it really the same as something unsolicited?

Both my husband and I love playing wordle, although I do admit that I do NOT find it easy at all

Yes, we play it every day and compare results. We also do the Spelling Bee in the NYT. But, as others have noted, it does become addictive.
