Absolutely. We need to know.
Amazon started using their own delivery fleet a few months ago here in NYC. That has to be a major decrease in packages and business for FedEx, USPS, UPS and others. Hope this competition shakes out the incompetence and poor business practices. I've had great experiences with Amazon deliveries. They also have real time GPS tracking for your packages for free.

Right! They must be sweating bullets over that.

For at least a year, UPS deliveries have been on a decline. A package could arrive at 10:00 AM or 7:00 PM or any time in between. We have a different driver every day, so they don't know the neighborhood. I have gotten three deliveries for neighbors in the past two months. An email told me that my laptop power supply was delivered yesterday. It wasn't. Amazon is referring me to the seller in Texas, but I haven't been able to find a way to contact them yet. If a neighbor doesn't bring the package over, I'll have to talk to Amazon on the phone.

I think location has a great deal to do with the efficiency and arrival time of deliveries for both FedEx and UPS. I get frequent deliveries and late arrivals are seldom, not the rule.
Lucky me. Sorry about your experiences, Jerry!

I think it may all come down to where you live. We have the same delivery person most days. Delivery is generally same time every day. If not I know our regular person is off. If I do order something and it starts with one delivery service and turned over to the P.O. I get an email on delivery time. And I get it.
I have the same experiences, Frank! Location, location location!!

I had a company send me something FedEX ground. It's coming from their facility <100 miles away.
The pkg was picked up by FedEx a week ago.
Going to their tracking page it says the pkg was picked up last Tues. No updates since then.
Awful awful .
All I want is to see where my pkg is.
Both UPS and FedX are getting worse. At least the packages finally arrive 2-3 day (sometimes a week) earlier than USPS.
If you can get a gun, go out and shoot a lot of holes in that dark cloud that’s always hovering over you, then maybe all the doom and gloom may finally leave.
Hmmm, does that really work?
It could be a SCAM!! Through Amazon, I once placed an order and was told it was delivered to me, I checked and it was delivered at another location in Colorado (I live in Ohio!). I called Amazon and after they checked, they told me it was a scam. Apparently the 3rd party seller was sending the purchases to a bogus address. All Amazon was doing was confirming delivery. My item was finally delivered, sent by an honest merchant by Amazon, the item was a newer version and replaced at same cost. Amazon let me know they try to screen bogus merchants, but this one apparently slipped thru a crack. It helped me put alot of faith in Amazon.
