Beautifully done, Mike. The photos with the high key backgrounds could be Audobon plates. Fabulous.

On Monday I went to Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge north of Salt Lake City. It was a poor day for raptors. In the following set, only the two shots on a "One Way" sign were taken in the refuge. All the others were taken going to and from the refuge.

I will post the eagle shots in a separate post.

N.B. If you have not reviewed Steve Perry's latest post on problems in winter shooting from lens hoods, DO IT. Half of my shots were not usable for exactly the reason that Steve pointed out.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

You got some nice ones despite the cold and lens fogging.

Nice captures, Mike. I'm curious about the different tones in these images. Are they due to time of day? Or maybe direction of shoot?
