Is There Only One Lens Wipes Maker?

A long time ago (maybe 10 years ago), I bought a box of Nikon Lens Wipes. Over time, I used some, and the rest gradually dried up inside their sealed packets. So, I decided it was time for some new wipes. This time, I ordered Zeiss Lens Wipes. See attached photo. Except for package graphics, the containers are almost identical in style and size. Both are made in China. The Zeiss holds 220 instead of 200, but, for essentially the same price, I could have bought a package of Zeiss with 200, also. I'm leaving the cellophane on until I need some. I think this is kind of curious. Do Nikon and Zeiss order from the same place? Or, do they license their brand? Are there any differences between the wipes?

I've used the Zeiss brand for decades. Nothing wrong with them.

Are the ingredients listed on both boxes?

If Nikon and Zeiss were using the same manufacturer, why would that be a scandal?

There seems to be camera lens left out of their description.

All you really need is a microfiber and some 98% iso.
Though I could see having a few packets lying around for field trips that get out of hand.

Hopefully, one of these companies will soon come clean.

I have always used Hoodman Wipes.

**Lens Cleanse Natural Lens Cleaning Kit from Hoodman. It's comprised of wet and dry elements that help to keep your optics clean and free from dirt and grime. The kit is made from naturally found organic plant enzymes that work to break down the grime that accumulates on lenses, filters and other optics.**
