Put the bong down...you've had enough.

I was thinking how you are just no fun anymore when it occurred to me that you were never much fun in the first place.

If you had actually read the thread you would’ve encountered various members who have no confusion such as yours. But you’re apparently waaaaay beyond taking their hints.

Extinction is irreversible. Begging for an “answer” only digs you a deeper hole :-(

Walmart owns both Nikon and Zeiss.

Just before this thread I bought a 220 count box of Zeiss wipes for $9.50 with free delivery from Sams club. I noted Amazon sells them for $19 for 200. I bought them for my glasses not specifically for a camera lens. They are supposedly safe for coated lens so surely would be good for camera lens as well?

As for manufacturers making products under various labels, that's always been true. When I was in college 55 years ago I worked a summer at Borden's Ice Cream plant making popsicles, Ice Cream bars and such. We made ice cream for everyone. Many companies had their own formulas we had to follow precisely like Weight Watchers or Eskimo Pie. Even our own brands had different formulas, like Lady Borden's was our top line ice cream and was very different from lower quality/fat ice cream. Just because one company makes stuff for many different labels does not mean everything is the same. Batteries are a common issue on the hog, and I reckon few to no camera makers actually manufacture batteries. That doesn't mean all batteries made by one manufacturer are the same quality.

I have used Zeis and the brand Costco presently sells, but I have always preferred Bausch + Lomb Sight Savers (which Costco used to sell).
