Great composition and capture in #2 - and thanks for the story of Badwater! I also had a question about the noise, but your explanation of its intentional nature made perfect artistic sense - Well done and creative!

I like how you stepped out of the "box" with the treatment and included an interesting story about it's name!

A beautiful image of a stark landscape. My fondest memory of Badwater is from the late '90s after a hundred year storm. Lake Manley was really a lake. People came from everywhere to sail, kayak, canoe, and paddleboard on it. Many wonderful wildflowers that year.

I went there in August one year on my motorcycle. The thermometer in Baker said 122 degrees but I don't know how hot it was at the basin. Sometimes I do stupid things and that was one of them.

Great memory, Death Valley can put on a wonderful wild flower display on wet years
