Just picked up a used 5Div body and would like to see if anybody has a printed manual they are willing to give up. I've already downloaded the 662 page PDF but for me a hard copy works best. Thanks in advance.
the problem with that manual is it tells you what the camera can do, but not how to make the camera do it. The info is there, but you hafta scratch for it.. I have both the one suppllied with the camera & the PDF. I wish someone would re-write it as a how-to book..(Canon take note). Ed

Thanks. Would not have thought it would be available on Amazon. Appreciate the tip.
Do you really need all 662 pages in hard copy? Just print the portions you need using a page range in your PDF print software.

Of course not. I ordered the manual from Amazon for the convenience of its portability. I read the manuals to learn features and capabilities and rely on guys like you to learn how to take advantage of those features and capabilities.

You’ll find Busch rather helpful. I prolly read less than 5% of the contents. It’s reference material, not Dostoyevsky !
Most valuable to me is getting the book when I realize that I may very likely buy the camera *if* its claimed features will actually work for me. Camera company marketing materials never alert you to any limitations, conflicting settings, etc.
If ever I’m left with a book on a camera that I don’t finally buy, I can’t complain about spending $45 to be warned not to spend the full price of the camera.

Clearly I’ve got no ax to grind brandwise. Note the equal balance of EVF and SLR.

There are several good 3rd party books/manuals that tell you how to get the most out of your camera. The factory manuals purpose is to show you how the camera and its features function, not to teach photography.

Well of course! Because you have the pdf on your mobile device.

doesn't have anything to do with teaching photography, I know what I want the camera to do, just sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to tell the camera to do it... In most cases the capabilities of the camera is what I bought the damn thing for so I know what it can or cannot do, just need better instruction in how to "drive" it. I tried to set the shutter to what used to be called "bulb" and buried my head in the manuel & ten minutes later still could not figure out how to do it...
