Why don't you just convert them to jpg? Smaller and quicker.

I don't believe a multi-page PDF document can be converted to JPG.

You should be able to Zip the PDF, of course the user would need to unzip. Don't know if that helps.

You can zip a file to a self-extracting zip file. But it is an .exe file which sometimes is blocked by malware detecting software.

I have a PDF, a photo book I created, that I would like to share. The problem I keep running in to is that the file size, 59.9MB is too large for either my email, AOL, or Dropbox to accept. Is there any way that I can break the PDF into smaller pieces?

Even the free Dropbox account allows up to 100mb files. Paid subscriptions (Dropbox Plus and Business Standard) will allow up to 2 gb and Pro or Business Advanced up to up to 100 gb. Creative Tools add-on will allow transfers of up to 250gb when combined with Business Standard, Advanced, Enterprise oe Education accounts.

60 mb should be no problem at all.

Maybe you have too many files in your Dropbox folder.

I just learned how to do it today. I had to break up a similar sized file of engineering drawing pdf's. In pdf-Xchange, open the file, open the thumbnail sidebar, select the number of thumbnail pages you want to break out , go to the 'Organize' tab, select 'split', select 'pages', select 'copy' and where you want to save it. Acrobat has similar features I believe but you will need the 'Pro' version, not the 'Reader' version.

Send by Gmail. They will not send the actual files but will upload them and provide a link to all your recipients

Here’s a straight answer to your question. There’s a free basic program called PDFSam available at https://pdfsam.org/download-pdfsam-basic/ . This program can split and merge PDF files. I frequently use it to merge individual files into one. It works well and free updates are available. A most useful utility that I keep on my desktop. You did not say whether you use Windows or Mac. I use it on Windows. A Mac version is available.

I use we transfer.com. I've sent files over 100MB. You upload the file and they email a link to whoever you chose and they can download your file.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, pdf files can be reduced in size. You will be surprised as to how much the file size can be squeezed.

Microslop Word has a feature that compresses PDFs. It uses a supercomputer on their site to do it. You access it directly from Word. I used it for a PDF I posted here this summer. The uncompressed version is 12.3MB, the compressed version is 2.8MB. It lost very little quality in the process. But it's 77% smaller. See attached.

Temporarily move some items out of Dropbox to make room for the large file. I assume you just need to have people see it and copy it, so just leave it in there for a week or so then restore your files that you had in Dropbox originally.

If you use Apple products you can use mail drop. Receiver does not need to be on Apple.
From Apple:
With Mail Drop, you can send attachments up to 5 GB in size. You can send these attachments right from Mail on your Mac, the Mail app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and from iCloud.com on your Mac or PC. All files types are supported and attachments don’t count against your iCloud storage. If a message, including its attachments, is larger than your Internet Service Provider (ISP) limit, Mail will ask you to send the attachments using Mail Drop.
Attachments might not be sent using Mail Drop if they exceed these limits:
The message, including its attachments, is larger than 5 GB. Try sending the contents of your message in multiple email messages or compressing your attachments to make them as small as possible.
An uncompressed folder is attached to the message. Use these steps to compress your attachments.
Too many messages have been sent or the maximum number of recipients has been exceeded. Learn about mailbox size and message sending limits.
You reached the 1 TB Mail Drop storage limit. Each attachment expires after 30 days, so you can send new attachments after earlier attachments expire and more storage becomes available.

Just last week, I sent a folder containgin files totalling almost 148mb, using "Weshare"
It was the first time I used this, but it went off without a hitch.
May be worth a try.
