Use the Adobe.tv tutorials. Julianne Kost is the LR Guru for Adobe.tv, along with Scott Kelby's book. My theory is "If its free, its for me!!!! and thats Adobe.tv
www.steeletraining.com/resources.htm This guy is one of the best in teaching and explaining Lightroom. I am not a computer person but this guy explains it very clearly.

I just bought "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Book" by Martin Evening. It is absolutely wonderful. It is published by Peachpit Press and there is an online version available.
I have been using Lightroom for years and am still finding new and better ways to accomplish tasks. This book, on the first day I looked at it, helped me solve a problem with too dark printing. The procedure was totally different than anything I had read or been told previously. I recommend this book highly to all Lightroom users, both new and old.
I suggest Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Classroom in a Book. It's the official training workbook from Adobe Systems. Set up in Lesson format, it's an easy way to learn the program at your own pace. I have the same books for Photoshop and InDesign which I was able to learn well.
I urge you to learn cataloging, digital image management, best described by George Jardine before you get such a messed up Lightroom, you will quit using it.
I subscribe to
www.thedigitalphotographyconnection.com as a Annual Pass Member. They have great tutorials for Lightroom and Photoshop plus DVDs. I have also asked questions about specifics and he has sent me exact details. You might want to check them out.

Does anyone suggest a good book on Lightroom 4. I just purchased it and am a newbie.
Thanks
K9, not books and not free but worthwhile. Check out NAPP(national assoc. of photoshop professionals, about $90/year) and don't rule out a class in PP at your local JC.
