Occupaion: Retired Interests: Photography Biography: Alan Lee has been enjoying photography for over 40 years. Much of his current work consists of travel photography as well as close-up and graphic visions using plants, man made and natural objects to create contemporary visual pieces.
During the 1980’s he opened a custom photo lab in Northern California. He had the opportunity to communicate with many excellent photographers and lab technicians and took much away from those experiences. He is fascinated by visually exciting images either of scenics, animals and common everyday objects that have a graphic element. His style varies from classical to high impact visuals. The challenge of seeing various objects through different perspectives and producing images that inspires or motivates keeps the creative juices flowing.
Alan has exhibited in the Bay St. Louis Chamber of Commerce opening display of art through the Arts of Hancock County of which he is a member. He has displayed his work at the Bay Saint Louis Courthouse in the Offices of the Clerk of Courts in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. He has participated in “Arts Alive Open Studios” during October 2011. He has just returned from a photo trip to Sedona Arizona with plans to visit other exotic places to add to his portfolio.
