There ya go, OP!!
My first mk II was stolen. Got my 2nd a few years ago, for under $800, on ebay. Works fine.
Fredmiranda.com is a good place. Personally, I've had good luck buying many things on ebay. Now, there's offerup and facebookmarketplace.
2 card slots and flicker light compensation are hard to beat...and you guys know that mp numbers dont count...the 7dm2 is built like a tank and if you be trompin at all hours for THE SHOT this is your gear...not many of us take full advantage of the 65 point af but when you on a cliff in skye catching a rainbow off kilt rock in a blinding throwdown you are soaking wet and happy beyond belief...oh...built like a tank...200,000 shutters? Vs 100,000 or less for 90/80? Call me old school...i say go 7dm2 from b&h and use the extra money on primo glass
I’ve decided to bite the bullet and move to the mirrorless R6.

I bought a 5D III on ebay back in 2017 with some 560k shutter actuations. It was ugly, but worked perfectly. It was the only piece of kit that succumbed to my house fire.

The only place where they seem to be available now is Amazon. Does anyone have a trusted source for an in stock camera?
Does Canon actually make em anymore? I don't even see them mentioned at all on the Canon webpage. New used or refurbished nowhere to be seen???

Unfortunately, Canon USA no longer even lists refurbished 7DII on their website. You can get 90D, 80D, 77D and lots of other models (35 choices, in fact)... but 7DII is not one of them.
Used is probably going to be the only option. Keep in mind that 7DII is rated to be able to do 200,000 shutter actuations (compared to 90D rated to do 120K and 80D with 100K).
https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/products/details/cameras/eos-dslr-and-mirrorless-cameras/dslr/eos-7d-mark-iiIt is listed but go to where to buy and is shown as out of stock.
AKA, not made any more.
Go with the 90D, better resolution and better specs including AF over the 7D MII.
I bought a used 7DII. It’s a great camera. Thinking about buying a new one- it’s that good . I have a full frame, R5 which also is great.
Try Bergan Camera in NJ, they dont have one now, they come & go real fast, got mine from them 5 weeks ago, they had another on their site a few weeks ago. they put out a new list each week
I have bought 2 off eBay this past 12 months. Both used. Invested some time and selected cameras wit very low shutter counts that had had good care. Very happy with both. The last one came with a 18-135 ef-s lens and I paid about $793. Shutter count was 4088. The camera is rated for 250,000 shutter actuations. Beautiful camera. On eBay ,f you see what y Ike within your budget , wait until the last 20 seconds or so to bid, and bid about $100-200 over the current bid. Most of the time, when your bid comes in, you get the item for much less than you bid. Only bid on one that meets your specifications perfectly. Rated mint, or excellent , low shutter count, etc. check out what Amazon wants for a used one and stick with that price as max. Theirs usually have a much higher shutter count than the one you have found. The camera was a 7d mk2. I bought 2 of them this year for about the same deal. A decent camera may be caught cheap, however, the decent ones are usually around what Amazon asks, only yours is much less used and abused.
