Buyers beware of B&H Photo...
I recently bought a 12TB hard drive on line from B&H photo video and as I always do I printed off an invoice before closing the window. A few days later a new and additional charge was posted to my account from B&H. When I investigated B&H had re-invoiced and charged me, again, $150 over what I had originally paid for my hard drive affectively charging me more than double my original purchase. When I went onto their website to look at my orders they had created a whole new order and invoice and my order and invoice wasn't there. Now they claim I placed another order - which I didn't. I take a lot of photos but 24TB worth - really.
They refuse to rectify this situation. I've filed a BBB complaint and am working with my Visa card services to try and get my money back. I have done plenty of business with them over the years but this is the last time I buy anything from them. The time and stress this has cause me is not work it. I will keep my business with Adorama and my local camera outfitters from now on.

What is B&H response?
They have ALWAYS been honest with me.
I've never had a problem with B&H. I'd continue to consider them, based upon my experience. Sorry you have had a bad one with them. I'm sure they will work with you. Suggest that if you contact them, ask to speak with a Supervisor and explain your situation. Surely there are not two USPS tracking numbers, etc. to imply that double shipments were made. They can check into this with/for you.
Did you maybe accidentally click "submit" twice?
I've never had a problem ordering from them.
Or wax poetic about it here on the forum and get responses to your fantastical journey to help reassure you that spreading your personal business with B&H on a forum is helpful and instructional. If you need a pat on the back for filing with the BBB, then GREAT JOB!
They have always been good to me. Sorry about your experience.

It seems odd that they wouldn't accept a return regardless of your reason for wanting to return it. Why wouldn't they let your return one?
So irresponsible to post this kind of thread. Shame on you!
B&H has been a successful business for over 35 years. Hundreds of photographers right here on UHH sing their praises often. "They refuse to rectify this situation" is absolute nonsense.

I know they are closed for their Jewish Holiday. That is why no response
I've used them from Australia and honestly trust them more than my local stores!

I ordered something twice a while back from EBAY and almost immediately got a message that I had ordered the same item once already. I did have to go back and spend some time figuring out how to cancel an order but I was successful in the end. I would think that any online store would have a routine catching duplicate orders before shipping. If duplicate orders are placed within a certain time frame chances are it is an error somewhere. If the buyer wanted more than one there is usually a quantity box available where that would be expressed.
All that being said B&H is doing more harm in disputing this mixup than any monetary gain is worth. IMHO B&H should have immediately either offered to accept a no charge return and a refund. Standing their ground and instead "looking into it" is a crappy way to run a railroad.

I thought they were closed for Passover........
I think there is more to this story than has been told. Just my opinion. Too many good things said about B&H. Something is off here.
