I thought rumors of TP shortages died with Johnny Carson?

This time some stores will limit ‘per person’ sales. I have seen signs in Target stores that paper product sales are limited. If the shops get ‘on board’ hoarding will not happen. There could be price hikes though.

If the "predicted shortage" keeps being propagated, it will happen.
Everyone will panic (again) and start scarfing it up, thereby creating another shortage.

How many people are still using the TP stash they got last spring?????

Human nature stinks.

It's not that human nature stinks, it just is adapted for a different time or circumstances, 1000's or hundreds of thousands of years ago in most cases. Although I do remember a Russian immigrant comedian talking about dealing with his parents buying out, or trying to, the meat department at the store, because they did not believe it would there next time.

Even before Covids, there were reports of hoarding of a Burbon people was going out of production and of 22 amino I believe. I keep waiting for the reports of hole where a home once existed where someone hoarded both.

Journalist from what I see, are directly concern with rating and add sales so anything that can boost sale or ratings is good.
Miss information or down wright lies are ok as long as the paper is selling

That explains everyone under 40 hoarding?
It's instinctive?
My wife and I won't hoard.
Took me weeks to find some stuff we normally have no problem getting.
Bought ONE when I found them.
It's human nature, or greed. Gotta get some (extra) before everyone else does.......

Jeezzz people. This is a container ship built to carry 20,000 containers each probably filled with tons of necessary items from China such as replica Mount Rushmore trinkets. It is not a bulk carrier filled with tiny bits of wood fibre for making that plush arse wiping stuff. 🙂🙃😊😇

THAT one, but no other ships are getting through either, none.

This may become known as the Evergreen Efect ( the name of the ship stuck in the canal)

The “Ever Given” is the ships name. Evergreen is the ship owner.😀👌

Just learned that a special “ship’s pilot” takes a ship through the canal and not the captain. At the time of the accident there two pilots on board.

And a sand storm to reduce visibility.
Just desert on both sides of canal.
