I am glad to be above ground. After a severe motorcycle accident 9 years ago resulted in a broken back, a lacerated liver and traumatic brain injury I have reevaluated my priorities. Glad to be here and thankful for my wife. We both get to enjoy photography and are active in our local camera club. I’ve got all the gear I need until the next best thing comes along😎

I am happy to have a quality canon EOS 80D. I am also happy to have a Black Rapid Sling. It saves my neck and shoulders. I’m happy I will soon have more time with my wife as she retires in December. Together we will become more learned on photography With this beautiful machine that we have had several years now and yet to spend a lot of time with. I’m happy for this forum that I plan on visiting more often. I’m glad I’m still alive and have the opportunity to be with my people and of course you dear folks. Have a great weekend

I have a Minolta compact bellows and several Minolta lenses that I use for macro images. These are from the film days and work well with a Fotodiox adapter for my Canon camera.

I have three old cameras that I cherish. They are a 4x5 Graflex that belonged to my grandfather, a folding 110 Kodak that my father (and after he died, my mother) used, and an Argus C-3 that I carried with me during my time in the army. I have used all three of them, but now they are simply a connection to my past.

I've a Luna Pro SBC... I remember practically lusting after one when I was photo editor for my HS 1978 yearbook. I finally picked one up years later and it's simply wonderful!

I still have one Kodak Carousel with very special slides from my year in Germany with my first husband. Both sets of parents came to visit and we traveled all over Europe. Some have been digitized and some have been made into pictures for a scrapbook. All of them have passed away, so I am grateful to have these memories. I no longer have a projector, so I bought a slide viewer. I also have some movies from that trip since both dads were into photography at the time.
Other than my precious pictures, I am grateful I’ve always had a camera to capture great memories!!! I probably have too much equipment now; but I’m not willing to let any of it go, just yet!! Some things I sold and regretted and then bought it again...like the Sony a6000. Great camera that took outstanding photos in Ireland 5 years ago.
