EH_EH_EH....You children---wait till you are my age...90 next B'day. Wife is healthy; I'm sorta healthy; only wrestled two warthogs, so far today !! (I lie a lot !)

My NEW D500. Now 2 days old to me. A lot to learn as it’s an addition to my D90.
The desire to take photos and 6 lenses to cover me in any situation I shoot in..however...I know I am grateful for the savings account which funds my lens obsession.

I'm currently sorting through my photography related items. I'm coming across little things I'm happy I purchased/own.
Below is an example. Camera Wise was a collectible book series. From memory I think you purchased an issue a week. Took a long time to buy them all and I did manage to not miss a single issue. It's old, dates back to film days but just flicking through it there is masses of content. Kinda happy I collected it and still have it.
Any little bits of photography related items that you are really happy you have for whatever reason?

My sanity and my curiosity/thirst for knowledge.
The two things I'm happy to have is my health and my continued love of photography.

After a brush with cancer last year I’m glad I have my health. Everything else pales in comparison.
I'm glad you are ok, but the question was about photography.
There are photograph related things I am happy to have had, but now I am wondering what I am going to do with all the accumulation. There are boxes of Shutterbug magazines, all sorts of film photography related books, some slr film camera, Pentax k-1000, Canon T-90's and others and all sorts of compact film cameras such as Olymus xa, xaII, stylus epics, and etc. Specifically for me, if I had to choose what item meant the most to me, it would be a Canon AE-1 that an English professor let me borrow. It led me to a lifetime of enjoyment.

That's interesting. I first studied photography in school. Used a Nikon camera but I have no idea what model it was. I wish I knew/could remember because I would today love to own the same camera model I first used in school. At the time I had no idea photography would be a lifetime interest for me. I took the subject because I thought it would be an easy pass. haha
The same photography class almost got me suspended from school. Teacher didn't like a creative shot I took for a final assignment. That's another story. I never actually got to see the image myself but thinking back to it, I still remember taking it, I think the teacher should've awarded me an A+ for creativity but maybe subject matter could've been a better choice than the one I made. I believe I was ridiculously hard done by. lol
